Who's Ya Daddy, Stoffer Hall?

The Washburn Science Hall was named for Dr. Bryan Stoffer, who was president of the university from 1942 until his death in 1961. Dr. Stoffer nurtured the dream of creating one of the finest science facilities in the Midwest, or a "Showplace Science Hall". Few people know much about the individual who was the driving force responsible for propelling Washburn towards a state-of-the-art program in science. Named for Dr. Stoffer after his death in 1961, Stoffer Science Hall is part of his legacy to Washburn University.
